On March 28, 2005, Daniel Kyei was convicted of:

Count # 1: Attempted Indecent Proposal to a Child – in violation of 21 O.S. 1123

Count # 2: Attempting to Offer Transport Minor for Purpose of Lewd Indecent Purposes – in violation of 21 O.S. 1087

He was sentenced to:

5 years – suspended sentence
1 year supervised probation – Fully comply with special rules and conditions for Sex Offenders
Register as a Sex Offender, for life

We are also told he will be deported.

Summary of his case:

Like others posted to this site, he initiated a chat with an underage ID from Oklahoma Regional chat. He messaged Elizabeth ( “Liz” ), who he believed to be a 13 year old child. The picture of the girl he believed he was meeting is only 9 years old. – He claimed to be 26, but he was really 40 years old.

He attempted to meet the child at a convenience store near her home, the first time. She didn’t show up. He then attempted to meet with her again, at a fast food place near her middle school. He was expecting the little girl to walk up and meet him in her dress, and bring her backpack. He was going to buy her a Happy Meal and take her back to his apartment for sex.

He was met by detectives instead, and went to jail.

We’re happy with the outcome of this case, mainly because he is being required to register as a Sex Offender for life, and because he’s likely going to be deported soon.

Much thanks go to the detectives who worked this case, and give so much of themselves to cases such as this, and work very hard to get people like Daniel Kyei off the streets and in jail, where they belong. We are very grateful to you for all of your work.
