Comments by Nikki: This is a complex and terribly sad and disturbing case. Ganelon Diers isn’t easy to catch because he’s very, very careful to make sure he is really communicating with a child before moving into sexual discussions.

I became aware of Diers (using the screen name “soonermax37”) in 2004. I also alerted local law enforcement about him. He’s clearly a groomer (as you can see in the chat below) and he did attempt to get 13 yr old “Amy” to let him do a “drive by” and as he also called it: “a meet and greet on the street”. He wanted to make sure it was really a child, and of course we’re not going to use a child as a decoy, so he made it very difficult to catch him.

There’s a LOT more to this case and unfortunately Ganelon Diers did meet with a child in Norman, OK (possibly more than one child in the area), and he’s now been charged with RAPE VICTIM UNDER AGE 14, in violation of 21 O.S. 1114 (A)(1) and numerous other charges. We will post much more about Ganelon Diers in the near future, but at this time (March ’07) we’ll just post the chat that occurred with Diers beginning in Oct. 2004 with the 13 yr old child ID “Amy”.

He tried to meet with this child in Oct. 2004 in front of her home, because he wanted her to walk out there in the street (so he could make sure it’s a child), and then, on that same day, he went to a convienence store to try to meet with this child. He also suggested she come to the library when he’s working, so he could see her there.
