Toulon Man gets 5 years for Internet Child Porn:

A Toulon man was sentenced to just shy of five years in prison Thursday for having child pornography. Micheal R. Davidson, 44, of 104 W. Jefferson St. waived indictment last year by a federal grand jury and pleaded guilty to possession of the illicit images.

According to federal court records, Davidson was nabbed by a group of citizens [US Cyberwatch] who monitor the Internet. They engaged him in a chat room then informed members of the Central Illinois CyberCrime Unit.

His 57-month sentence was at the low end of his federal sentencing guidline range. In addition, he was placed on a lifetime term of supervised release.
The judge allowed him to voluntarily surrender himself to Bureau of Prison officials by March 19 [2007].
