Huge thanks go to the Norman PD Detectives who worked this case, and so many others like it. They are incredible people and outstanding law enforcement officers. They work very hard on these cases. They invest an enormous amount of time and resources to address this issue of online child predators, and not only do they invest themselves and their time and resources in catching these predators, but they continue to work on the cases all the way through to sentencing. They’re attending meetings with us, with the prosecutors, they’re testifying. They don’t just make the arrest, they are invested in the cases in many ways, they are actively proposing new legislation, working through strategies with prosecutors, etc. The time they put into cases such as this is appreciated much more than can be described here, in words. These are people of true integrity, and we cannot thank them enough for all they do.

The Clev. County DA’s office and prosecutor who worked this case did an outstanding job, too. We conference in person and by phone very regularly, and they’re working to make sure that these predators are identified and prosecuted so that children will be protected from them. We’re seeing a lot of work, a lot of time and resources being put into these cases now, and for that we’re very grateful. The work that we’re all doing as a team is, no doubt, going to protect children and raise awareness about this very important issue and the danger it poses to children online.
